top 5 movies!
1) the handmaiden! no contest its literally perfect in every way and i think the atmosphere is one of my favorites its so so so pretty...also the library scene where sook hee trashes everything and my tamako my sook hee plays is the best scene in cinema ever
2) get out! i normally dont watch horror but this was really good...i swear every time i watch it i pick up something new i didn't notice before. i love how many little details are in here
3) inside out its my favorite animated movie ever 🥺 even now when i hear the little piano intro it gives me feelings
4) im not normally a fan of biopics but i really like rocketman! i love how larger than life it is i wanna live in all of the sets. and it just has a very feel good ending which i love. and most movies about irl gay people are so...weird regarding sexuality, this one seemed a lot more forgiving and understanding on that front
5) room! for some reason when i say this people think i mean tommy wiseau's the room NO I DO NOT, i mean room (2015) the one with brie larson. the emotional delivery is really good especially from the kid. i havent seen it in years but i still think about it time to time, also the premise of only living in one room your whole life and thinking that was the entire world and then realizing there's more out there was so interesting 🤯
