Odisha : 3 Students Injured in Road Mishap

Dhenkanal: In a shocking occurrence, three students were harmed when the school van, they were going in, hit a truck from behind at Rasola zone under Hindol hinder in the area on Friday morning.

The harmed have been recognized as students of Rasola Saraswati Sishu Mandir.

By, the incident occurred in the morning today when the school van was en route to the school with the understudies in it. The van hit the truck from the rear harming the three students.

The students sustained cerebrum and face wounds in the mischance, sources said adding that they were admitted to Hindol hospital for treatement.

On September 29, 2015, two persons, including a school student, were killed in the locale after a bus hit an auto rickshaw conveying school understudies.

Odisha road mishap: Angul MLA injured, driver killed

Former minister and BJD MLA from Angul, Rajnikant Singh has been injured in a road mishap near Rasol in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district today, reports said.

Singh has sustained injuries on his face, his driver has been  killed on the spot.The mishap took place on Cuttack-Sambalpur road at around 9.30 pm while the legislator was returning home from Bhubaneswar.

Reports said Singh’s vehicle hit an electric pole on the roadside while allowing a vehicle coming from the opposite direction to pass. Singh has been admitted to the government hospital at Hindol.

The driver, identified as Ratikant Paramguru (44) of Kanasa area in Puri, was killed on the spot, the MLA sustained injuries on his face. After getting information about the incident, Fire personnel and police reached the spot and rescued Singh. He was rushed to Hindol hospital and later shifted to Bhubaneswar for better treatment. Doctor stated  his condition is stable now.

Odisha : 2 Killed in Road Mishap Near Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal: In an unfortunate mishap at Satamile area of Hindol in Dhenkanal two were killed after a bus hit an auto rickshaw conveying school students on Tuesday.

Report said, the auto driver and school children in the auto rickshaw were among the perished.

Nine other children were also discriminatingly harmed in the mishap and have been raced to the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack. As per sources, the incident happened when the auto rickshaw was taking the school children back to their home from school, had a head on crash with a speeding bus. Accordingly the auto driver and the child sitting in the front seat with the driver died on accident spot.

Taking after the occurrence the furious local people staged road blockade.
