It seems as though the weather turned a corner like it was on rails. It was muggy and hot and after one rainy Saturday, it is crisp and cool. I hear the warmer weather will return. But I have taken full advantage of this dip to wear the crap out of this cape. It was a no-brainer for today. And yesterday for a bridal shower.
You know how sometimes you attend one of those momentous life occasions like a baby shower or a bridal shower and it feels like the party planner just wanted to check 'party favor' off of her list?
The shower I attended yesterday wasn't like that. It was a large event {at least compared to mine, which was itsy bitsy} and somehow, I never once felt like things were dragging along. The bridesmaids and mothers of the betrothed did a wonderful job tending to the details. They had beautiful baskets and six or seven lovely aprons for giveaways. And the party favors? Well, they were any narcissist's ideal gift.

This bride has impeccable taste. I am so excited to see the actual wedding. It's probably going to be in my top 5 all-time favorite weddings. No pressure or anything Krista! ;)
Have you ever received/given a party favor that really sticks out in your mind? Because to remember the gift is a pretty big deal, even if you don't use it!
