Before The Source XXL Hip Hop Weekly Rap Radars Nah Rights these were the 1st 2 Hip Hop Publications in the early 80s Hip Hop was getting so big that it had to eventually be on to print i never forget i used to go to my cousins Todds house he had every issue of both and on top of that those Mags had classic Pics that would eventually be posters my cousins whole room was filled with Posters n Pics of Krs Rakim RUN DMC Salt n Pepa Heavy D Public Enemy Beastie Boys i mean everybody it was a collage in his room from there i know i would be in this Hip Hop culture. You have to know where you are from in order to know where your going! Even Biggie RIP Talked about how he read Word Up Magazine lol
