I just found the Hipira: The Little Vampire anime on tubi, which is free to watch (you don’t even need to make an account). It has a STUNNING combo 2d/3d art style that looks like pencil drawings. The episodes are 5 minutes each. I don’t know why I haven’t really heard of this before- even if it’s meant for small kids, it’s worth taking a look just for the visuals.
I have to admit that the characters shout an awful lot, but it’s forgivable most of the time (aside from episode 11, which I had to mute). But LOOK, it’s like Howl’s Moving Castle and Tekkonkinkreet (actually, Hipira was directed by Shinji Kimura, the art director of Tekkonkinkreet!)
