I can't get it either because it belonged to someone who has just deleted the account. In this case they have 24h to change their mind and the url is not aviable in case they actually do. If that's the case maybe I'll get the url tommorow.

But I also heard that sometimes if the account is deleted by tumblr it might not be possible to ever get the url.

I'm losing hope.

I did heard some thoeries on why the seemingly aviable url is not aviable. I even messaged the stuff, cause damn, that is one cool url

some people do this mean trick where they use the html from the not found page on their saved url blog, check if there is a follow button in the top corner
