RIP Zander

A trans boy who recently killed himself due to parental abuse and transphobia.  Even after his suicide, his mother still refused to acknowledge her son, instead referring to him as Sandra at his memorial service. #HisNameWasZander

OMG can people please stop killing themselves? I've gone through death enough. Please, for the fucking love of god I need a fucking break from it. Fuck man, just fuck. I don't even know the person but I'm fucking God damn tired of people committing suicide. I'm so close to flipping the fuck out worse than this.

His name was ZANDER.

"There is NO greater love than a man lay down his life for a friend." Zander was on our team, SCXC. He was our student manager and he served us with his whole heart. HE FIT IN PERFECTLY WITH US AND WE LOVED HIM. He showed up on time, smiling infectiously, serving us selflessly. I didn't even know how Zander struggled. Clearly, none of us did. It makes the loss even more difficult because now we know there were days when he layed down his struggle to make sure we had what we needed. Now we know there were days Zander showed up to serve his teammates although he was already carrying a heavy burden. Most of us don't love like that. We went to STATE this year and Zander helped to get us there. . . So Zander, your team loves you right now. We are proud of you right now and we pick you over and over again. We love you forever. SCXC
