Watched the 2011 documentary “Magic Trip”, earlier today, a documentary that reconstructs Ken Kesey's cross-country bus trip with his Merry Pranksters using footage from “The Movie” they shot to document their LSD-fueled journey to the New York World's Fair. And I enjoyed it. And it helped me understand Ken Kesey’s Acid tests a little better. And “The Movie” footage came out better than expected.
The only thing though, in my opinion, is you should read or have read “The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test” by Tom Wolfe first before watching the documentary to understand it much, much better and know everything that happened during the journey and what actually all took place during it.
