Your name is Baxter Ayravi, and you're supposed to be dead.
No really, according to all the fleet paperwork, you were executed some 3-4 sweeps ago or so. For yknow. Having a home and daring to protest your unwilling removal from it. "Treason" they call it. Whatever.
Supposedly your whole crew is famous for it. But that's old news, isn't it?
What's NEW news is that you, Baxter Ayravi, are alive, and supposedly the only living member of your old crew, as far as you know anyway. "Be a waste of a perfectly good pilot" or something. Guess didn't want to bother training a new one, take away from the cannon fodder numbers that sweep.
So you've spent the last few sweeps of your life confined to the bridge of some horror-show of a ship (seriously, they call that man a commander? yikes!), navigating for and interfacing with their battery personnel. Which was just miserable work, as if you didn't have enough to be depressed about.
At least, until you got "kidnapped" by some well known do-gooder rebel, at the behest of a surprisingly well-connected friend who'd reached out on your behalf. Man that was a hell of a night.
But! He got you resettled, and now you're getting by on your own terms, "missing person" and all. You have a small-time freelance piloting job on-world, and every once in a while you lend a hand to your new nefarious friends when they'll have you.
But mostly, you've just been trying to process everything that's happened in a little bit healthier a manner than you'd been before. Now you feel...... almost normal?
So... What happens next?
