Listen I have v bad vision so I've thought, for the entire time that I've been following you, that your profile picture was a chinchilla??? And now you're telling me it's a goose and that people see a hippo??? How??

it’s NOT A GOOSE. yuck. i will have to find my old goose vs swans comic. also every time someone said they thought it was a chinchilla i have to google what the hell that is again. unfortunately nobody who follows me has eyes and this has caused this saga of many years which will never end because i will never change my icon

Why is your profile picture a photo of an ominously looking swan facing forward?

my favorite part about that last ask is i had to search your tag for a while, stare reaaaaaally hard at your icon, take my glasses off, look from a distance, etc. just to see the supposed hippo. i've only ever seen a swan, but now i can't unsee the hippo. it's like an unintended Rorschach test. or those pictures where it's a bird and a cat or a horse and a frog. what was a simple swan picture is now mildly fascinating to me.

I feel ya it took me years to understand wtf everyone was talking about but once you see it you can never really unsee it
