I haven’t watched korra since it came out but from what I remember season 2 sucked so bad it was the worst. But 3 and 4 are really good! I think the problem was the writers didn’t know how many seasons they’d be able to get so they tried to make everything wrap up by the end of season 1 which is different than how they wrote atla having the storyline/arcs spread over 3 seasons. So after season 1 it might have been difficult to see where to go next since they wrapped up stuff best they could in 1

Oh good to know. That’s an insane piece of information to me, that they didn’t know how many seasons they had. Like Nickelodeon did not give the creators of its most acclaimed hit carte blanche damn
