[[ Yes! They are my favorite character, too. It's hard for me seeing any of them getting hate, because I think both are wonderful characters, as well as Colettie of course. I don't understand why any character get hate in general though. ]]

[[ It's nothing too important my dear, I just had a little breakdown over some stuff. Well, some stuff called "Having to get a job". But it's just that, nothing really relevant at all!!
And it's okay hun, thankyou really for offering the support, though I don't want to make you get on there and take your moods down with a little thing, because trust me, is just a little supatiny thing that actually shouldn't be bothering me but does anyway. ]]
[[ I'm sorry hun, and thank for your concern, you're really such a wonderful person thank you i luv u ]]
For Maddy, because I remember our conversation about Shadow in the gang being human. And then the last picture is for the Shadow and Sonic channel. Hehehe~
My friend responded to the "write a fanfic with me and a character" thing and oh my god here it is because she's just so good. Thanks, Maddy!
A warm breeze rushed by creating a symphony of rustling leaves and swaying branches. The night sky was lit ablaze by thousands stars, who’s mere existence seemed limitless. Though by the time he had witnessed each of these stars, they were already dead and gone, their time in this universe gone the moment we catch sight of their shining beauty. Much like that of bright youth, who’s light was extinguished far before his time. Paul rolled over on to his side and curled up at that thought. It still pained him to think about how soon his friend had passed. Even though Jack had continued to live on as a guardian after his unfortunate young death, it still pained Paul to think about having lost a crucial part of his adolescence like that.
A rush of frigid air pulsed by, Paul shivered, not expecting such a rapid shift in temperature. He sat up and hugged himself, moving his arms to create an illusion of heat. He didn’t want to go too overboard, however, or it could create a problem. Being the guardian of sun and warmth, Paul, much like Jack with snow, could easily conjure light and flame out of what appeared to be nothing. However, unlike Jack, Paul did not like to talk of where his “Guardianship” arose from. All guardians have a base within something dealing with children’s lore. His just happened to be “Mr. Golden Sun” from the popular children’s song. Despite his embarrassing roots, Paul was welcomed with open arms into the league of guardians. Jack being the most enthusiastic of all, finally having someone “younger” than him on the team.
Thump! Paul felt something soft, wet and cold crash into the back of his head. “And what has you so lost in thought, Mr. Golden Sun?”. Paul turned around to see Jack coasting playfully by with a cheeky grin plastered on his face. Paul scoffed, “Oh nothing, just contemplating the universe and the many things lost within it.” “Deep,” Jack replied earnestly, the playfulness drained from his voice, “..but don’t you think that’s wasted energy?” Paul looked at Jack bewildered, “I’m not sure I understand what you mean, Jack.” Jack smiled half-heartedly and offered, “Well, the universe is a broad and vast place, why contemplate it’s entirety when you can barely notice the things it has placed before you?” Paul did not know what to say to this, he had not been expecting any philosophical conversations tonight, nor had he been expecting Jack to show up unannounced.
“That reminds me,” Paul decided to opt for a slight change in subjects, “what brings you here so suddenly? I figured you would be off causing snow days and traffic accidents this time of night.” Jack looked slightly hurt, “Eh, I just didn’t feel up to it tonight.” Jack cast his eyes downward at Mr. Golden Sun’s glaringly white shoes, Jack decided on anyone else they would look far too gaudy, but on him it made sense. They reminded him of fluffy white clouds on bright summer days, they were suiting for a man made of warmth and light, just like the rest of him. His clothes white, gilded with golden accents. His hair golden yellow like his namesake. His eyes were light brown, reminiscent of people after his rays kissed their skin, yet, within this brown were speckles of orange and yellow, memorializing the flames that burned within him. He was the guardian of the sun after all, but despite knowing this, Jack was still entranced every time he gazed upon his friend.
“Are you ok?” Paul questioned. Jack snapped back into reality at the sound of his friends voice. Jack swallowed, “Yeah, I think so. I just...got distracted.” Paul raised an eyebrow, “Oh? By what exactly?” Jack shook his head, “It’s nothing. Really.” But it was. Jack had never felt more envious of a person than he did at this very moment. Paul got to be warm, beautiful and inviting, while he was stuck being invisible, cold and awkward. Jack sighed and turned away. It wasn’t Paul’s fault, he couldn’t help it. Jack just wished he could be more like Paul.
Jack slumped down in the grass, head resting in his hand, crystalline blue eyes looking up at the stars Paul had previously been contemplating. Paul noticed Jack’s swift change in behavior and softly stepped over to where Jack was sitting. As soon as he did this though, he realized he didn’t know what to say. He panicked momentarily before Jack cracked a smile. “Do I look that down to the point where you think I need the combination of all of the worlds warmth sitting beside me in order to make me feel better?” Jack laughed softly at his words. Paul thought briefly and smiled, “No, and that isn’t something I can offer anyway, but I can offer you the warmth and understanding of one.” (( In response, I gave her a Tales of Symphonia one~ ))
