How many users are you hoping to get within your first month?
That's a bit of a complicated answer.
When I first envisioned Skittlr I was thinking like... a hundred or so people signing up over a couple of months and only like... seven people being active or something...
And now? Real Time stats show that we have 20-30 people actively surveying the site, and we've had at least one person (often more) actively sitting on the registration page all day. (It doesn't open for another four hours dears, stop clicking the button please.)
We expect somewhere within the range of 500-1,000 users within that first month. Technically, we have almost 3,000 followers over multiple media accounts (which we got in 30 days), so it might be more like... 5,000 users in another 30 days. Which is a bit terrifying.
We're hoping to get enough users to grow healthily, and create a thriving community. We're also hoping we get them at a rate that does not overwhelm us and that allows us to be at least fairly comfortable. (And that doesn't kill our server.) But I have a feel we're going to go over that by a bit though.
Just enough for us to handle the growth without wanting to cause death and destr... err, I mean without having a server meltdown, thank you.
Milo: 900000000000Alex: I don't think we could afford 900000000000Milo: 900000000000Kate: I think if we got 900,000,000,000 I'd be more concerned about the sudden alien invasion of MOGAI identifying aliens that want to join our website than the expenses, but maybe that's just me.
I really hope it's atleast a 500, like even to start with that'd be spectacular

as many as our servers can handle
