Casual cardigans with just a slight goth/witchy vibe with the skull lace, perfect for lazy days or when you need to tone it down for work. The fabric is slightly on the heavier side, not winter heavy but a good fall/spring weight. Depending on where you live or how well you handle heat it could even be good for summer. The sleeves are a tad on the longer side (mind you I’m short so my arms are short too) and cover my hands up until my finger tips for that ultimate cute/cozy look that you really can’t go wrong with.

Apparently I really like crop tops, but hey look this one doesn’t have a cowl. I decided to try out making a super summery shirt; thin fabric, crop, and cold shoulders. Summer. It’s a tad to cold for me to actually wear this without the long sleeve underneath and in reality I don’t have the confidence to wear this without that bottom layer. I think I’m transitioning from cowl to cold shoulders as my new sewing obsession, which makes like no sense because I actually don’t like my shoulders and never want them seen, but I suppose that’s the good thing about Strega, mori, and goth fashions, they’re all about layering.

January Love Letter

What an exciting time to be alive!

There are many of us who feel that we have a role to perform in the shift of the ages. We are here to hold the frequencies of love, gratitude, peace, and balance for the birth of the New Earth Age. We are the spiritual midwives to assist the Earth's heart during these transformative rites of passage into a new galactic vibration : : : You are the conscious visionary you've been waiting for!

Do not be afraid to rise up into your power, and know, that what you need is already within, in your heart & soul. Be sure to ground yourself daily, as this month is a portal for cosmic releasing + healing from the past. Allow all emotions to surface that have been suppressed, allow them to cleanse you.  Don't be discouraged by these, know that divine timing has a plan, and all is working out in bigger and better ways! This is what we're here for - to be a part of this galactic dance of life, to shine the light through the times of change, and give birth to a new era!

In order to have sustainable wellness and vitality through these periods of recalibration, it is essential to prioritize self-care. Don't put it off, or ignore it, or think you are not worthy of it - write it on your calendar, make it a habit, and honor yourself. Taking time for naps, nurturing, nourishment, working out, yoga, meditation, and natural body care enhances your health, rejuvenates the body and mind, balances the emotions, and increases happiness. Self-care is an essential step on the path of success, otherwise the road leads to burn-out. So, take time for a hot soak in the bathtub, a walk in the forest, and feel your vitality and empowerment grow!

To create awesome health and vitality, you must take charge of your life and make empowered choices. Empowerment is not something that anyone can do for you, it is something that you must claim for yourself. By taking total self-responsibility for your life, your choices, the food you eat, and the direction you are taking, you become the conductor of your destiny. You have more resources available to you that you may be aware, it is your responsibility to discover, access, and utilize your birthright of empowered living and choose which of the options are best for you. The greater that you dive into your own self-healing, the more energy you will have to be of support to others.

Stoke your own fires so that you may shine an even brighter light upon the world!

Affirm: "I am creator of my destiny. I choose to create an amazing life."  

Put one hand on your heart and one hand on your belly and hum several times again, visualizing your aura as whole and completely connected to/surrounding you. You may wish to actually pat your body like you are “reconnecting” yourself to yourself!

Working on a (really for lack of a better word) fashion kimono with what I'm calling my "granny fabric" since it reminds me like old lady shirts or the shirt a spinster old aunt would wear (and really that's why I love it and got it, and I should pick up more). All that I need to do is pick up some more lace and finish making the fringe.
