For the WIP ask game... since I have a 'yesterday's news' amongst mine, I have to ask about Tomorrow's News ahah!
aw, thanks for the ask! Tomorrow's News is a newsies fic, where i take all the characters and put them in a 1930s au! (i don't know if you're familiar with the musical, but it's about newsboys in 1998) here's a snippet! (also i want to hear about yesterday's news now)
“Write it, Dave,” Jack said, fierce all of a sudden. “You get it written, and I’ll get you a publisher.” Because Jack said it, or maybe because that fierceness existed in Davey’s heart too, he went home that night to write. Rather than lug a typewriter with him, he stocked up on notebooks, went straight to his room and wrote until his brother dragged him out for dinner. “You’re writing at home too?” Les asked incredulously, reaching past Sarah for the potatoes and promptly knocking over his water glass. “Les, why are you a caveman trapped in a thimble,” Sarah yelped angrily mopping at her skirt and glaring hot enough to boil the remainder in his cup. Davey propped his chin on his hand. “Correction, Les. I am going to try to write at home, if you hooligans could pencil some quiet hours into your dance cards.”
