also she keeps a sketch pad and pens with her at all times to write down ideas
ace kept pet tarantulas as a kid
cassie chews on everything she can if she isn't paying attention.

It's hard to camp, one supposes; the nighttime provides less opportunities for exploration. But the local Gangrel in Ace's little circle of friends has far more experience with that sort than Ace ever has possessed - living inside all the time, typing away, reading and wasting away for want of food...well, we'll not go into that, but it didn't quite lend itself to an outdoor lifestyle.
The camping trip itself isn't so long, but when they return, Ace keeps it a treasured memory. Not many people like her, what with her awkward tendencies. But it's alright! She's got Cassie, yes? And they're friends.
