“oh,” she starts, stunned into silence by the inherent thoughtfulness of the gesture. ganyu had always known mana was kind, of course, but she hadn't thought it extended, on a personal level, to ganyu herself. her gaze, when it lands on mana, is filled with a confused sort of surprise. she's used to being asked — requested, to take up tasks on the behalf of others, but it's still a rarity to have it be so clearly for the sake of her own enjoyment.

she's staring, ganyu realizes belatedly, having said nothing past her initial acknowledgement. she catches herself with a clear of her throat.

"right, of course! it would be my pleasure to admire the flowers you've planted, mana." a shy smile slips onto ganyu's lips as she pauses on a thought. "would you like to... show them to me?" it's the best way she knows to phrase an invitation, gaze turning soft with the plea of it.

✦ ;   felix is , perhaps , not the most careful of fighters sometimes . but that doesn’t mean that he is truly careless . he does not have a death wish . & he does not plan on dying anytime soon . so when mana explains the reason for their actions , the lone wolf cannot stop his response from sounding . 

     ❛ tch . ❜   a scoff .   followed suit with a look .  one of hard - pressed judgement for his companion .   here ,   he thought they were more composed than that .   had he been wrong ?   does the other have a temper bigger than his own ?   ❛ didn’t know you could be such a bull , mana . ❜

felix is not so much disappointed with the fact that they lost their temper but more so on the fact that they had believed him to have been killed .   as if .   this angers the young man a bit .   as if the other has absolutely no faith in him .   or perhaps ,   they had all of the faith in him .   did mana care about him ?   would that be the reason they would go out of their way to have such a negative reaction ?   for any other person ,   it would have been touching .   but not to felix .   the thought only aggravates him more .   he doesnt need people to get angered at the consideration of his death .   maybe they should strive to do better so he doesn’t get killed .  

          ❛ don’t be stupid . if i die , then i die . you cannot control that . & dont be dumb enough to get all emotional & then die cause i did . it makes you look weak . ❜   perhaps it was some sort of pick me up for the other .   albeit his tone of voice sounded harsh & cold ,   he did mean well .

8 . are they polite or do they have a dirty mouth ? 

he is definitely more on the polite side than not . baizhu is not the type to really have bad taste overall in word choice . he’s definitely a lot more proper than many would think . & he genuinely isn’t trying to be that way most of the time , it is just who he is . it does seem a bit unnnatural for him to be so naturally soft - spoken & polite , but again , given the fact that he normally dislikes and has a distaste for foul language to come from himself , its definitely the former of the two . which is perhaps why he’s ethereal , & anybody who has been given the opportunity to witness him in such a state normally is quiet about the affairs . ( not that it happens often to begin with , but people just don’t say anything ) its due to his softness & his politeness that people don’t say anything or blab about it . it’s his charm . it’s mesmerizing and hypnotic .

9 . do they get embarrassed easily when it comes to nsfw things ? Or are they shameless ?

baizhu is not at all embarrassed to talk about nsfw subjects though to say he is shameless is a bit ... off . while yes , he is unfazed by the subject , and he is calm and collected in nature , he doesn't actively seek out discussion or is bold enough to discuss in broad daylight . he is , by nature , a man of doublespeak , so it is more than likely that the way he talks of it is something that would have to be read in between the lines . in a way , its an form of art in the way he speaks of it , like most other things , poetic by nature . so naturally its not so much shameless as it is ... hmmm ..... idk id bold or proud are the right words , but they definitely hold a different weight than shameless i suppose . if that makes sense ?

Any character you have played out of your usual type?

i try to write outside of my element as often as possible,  so i do have a couple characters that may not be the usual “type”.  i think my favorite was one i wrote as an inquisitor for dragon age: inquisition named estelle,  who was intended to toe the line between certain concepts  (  good v evil,  happy v grumpy,  etc  ).  her themes were love,  and most importantly,  love as being something that is negative.  not toxic,  but at what lengths is it too much?  are you still a good person if you would burn the world down for one person?  she’s a very sunny and happy character,  with a very positive and sweet aesthetic.  she’s kind!  she’s soft!  and also,  she’s a terrible liar and manipulator,  with a propensity for self-sacrifice and the refusal to let others do the same.

her trauma is very specific to that universe,  so she isn’t a character that is easily translated across lines,  but the basis for seti does come from her.  also,  she has a gorgeous aesthetic

Out of all the Final Fantasy you have played, which one was the hardest for you?

// There have been a handful of Final Fantasy games that I've started but haven't finished yet, most of which are simply cases of getting distracted by other games and stuff like that, but ONE of them is because I got completely and utterly stuck on a boss fight --

and that would be Final Fantasy 3 ( DS version )

I honestly think that I might have soft locked myself with poor party planning because no matter what I tried I kept getting killed by the goofiest looking dragon ever, the Salamander. One of these days I need to go back in and restart the game, tailoring my team from the beginning specifically to beat that boss so I can get past it. xD
