It had been a few weeks since Zee had settled upon the enclosure beneath the opera house which Erik laid in. Life had adjusted itself to withhold the presence of two in the small area; it had just enough space for both of them to be comfortable.

In the night, Erik placed a candle upon a table, lighting it and watching how the flame danced upon the wick carelessly. It was so natural with each movement, like a ballerina who danced on a stage with the pride that could only be accumulated by decades of practice. His hand drew closer to the wax, and touched it as the hot liquid stuck to his skin. Slowly, they picked away the wax, leaving small shells displayed upon the table.

"Comme j'ai soif d'inspiration," he whispered.

Promptober - Teeth, feat. @hiraethpariah

Throughout his life, Stephen has seen his fair share of teeth. They were often barred at him - a patient in pain, an enemy enraged, human, alien, creature… His own, at times, for many the same reasons. If the eyes were the window to the soul, the teeth were the doorway to the mind, betraying emotions that could not be held within those bars of bone.

Zee’s teeth had yet to be barred to him out of anything but joy and affection. He had not yet seen those fangs revealed in a snarl, nor heard the rumbling of a warning growl slide its way between them. No, and if he had his choice, he never would. The sorcerer would stain his own teeth red with blood, have gore drip thick and clumpy from his own lips as evidence of his desperation, than to allow pristine fangs to bear even a drop.

It’s a foolish hope, he knows. He’s lived long enough to realize that there will be a time he won’t be able to keep Zee away from the dangers that lurk and threaten them, their city, their planet itself… he doesn’t need Agamotto to tell him that Zee would fight alongside him when the moment came, even if for no other reason than that this world means so much to Stephen.

But for now.. for now they remain pearly white, colored only by teas and jams, showing only in the smiles and laughs shared in the calmness between them.

My favorite thing about Kyosuke would have to be the dichotomy between his bitter grief and anger, and the small scraps of innocence and fun loving-ness he has left. He’s tortured and walks a potentially dark path, but he also has a youthful lightness to him that I think contrasts interestingly.

We both love our brothers more than anything and view them as our best friend. We can both be hot-headed. He’s also used to trying to conquer his pain alone, and we both reeeeally like Japanese folklore.

DRAWING, writing, roleplaying (duh)… Sometimes I play video games. Idk, that’s mostly it lol.

09. "junk" drawer

Surprisingly little! He’s a neat little bastard—couple that with the fact that he didn’t come to England with much and the fact that he’s broke, it makes for a sparse junk drawer. Think candles, string, a few buttons, an omamori, and a small sewing kit.
