I’m actually quite sad. At the end of last month I interviewed for the perfect second job. It would have doubled my monthly paycheck and been amazing. The interview went great and everyone seemed to like me. The employer told me that they would let me know in a week if and when I would start. I got the call back stating they really liked me but felt obligated to let their old employee (who was/is sick and didn’t want to stop working) have a month test to see if they could continue working going through treatment.
So I got my hopes up and interviewed for this (dream) job just to get the answer of “Maybe in a month we will hire you.” To say I’m disappointed is an understatement.
