I’m actually quite sad. At the end of last month I interviewed for the perfect second job. It would have doubled my monthly paycheck and been amazing. The interview went great and everyone seemed to like me. The employer told me that they would let me know in a week if and when I would start. I got the call back stating they really liked me but felt obligated to let their old employee (who was/is sick and didn’t want to stop working) have a month test to see if they could continue working going through treatment. 

So I got my hopes up and interviewed for this (dream) job just to get the answer of “Maybe in a month we will hire you.” To say I’m disappointed is an understatement.

I know hardly anyone is actually going to read this. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, just stating facts. I don't think I have many friends left here. 

I don't know what's with me lately. I thought I was happier. I thought it was the nice weather that was making me want to stay offline and spend less time on my laptop. Apparently, that only lasted a week until it became a 'why would I even go online?'. It's been about a month now and no one even noticed. People I talked to daily, whom I thought were friends, didn't even wonder where I went. It's hard to feel better about not being so tied to technology when people you thought would care, don't. I have fallen out of so many friendships. I only talk to one person and that's my wife. Even she doesn't know everything my mind goes through. I feel so disconnected from everything. It's times like these where I just want to be numb. I'm sorry to everyone.
