Like Midoriya literally has this ancient mf going after his ass, this would be the kind of thing you'd tell a parent about right? Like "Oh no your son is missing mister midoriya!" Or maybe inko calling him about it???
Or do they have an estranged relationship and are at the point where they want to divorce and pretend they don't exist to each other because that would explain alot since he would be considered not important.
