Hanna's Snippets || I missed you
He was never one for an overzealous show of emotions, but he couldn’t believe that his dad was here; alive after all that time. He shifted in bed, looking up at the ceiling, until he had to get to his feet and wander into the living room where his dad and Banzai were talking. He stared a moment before opening his mouth to speak. “…Dad?”
Both heads turned towards him, but both of them men knew who he was talking to. “Aye, Critter?” He chuckled softly. That name… He shifted from foot to foot and glanced over his shoulder, messing with the hem of his pajama bottoms before glancing back at the man on the sofa.
“I missed you…”
