Hello Critters! Since Maelstrom Kingdom is now uploaded on Beacon (and sadly that's Bell's Hells' only live show this year) I thought back on my old post suggesting 10 concepts for live shows.
Given that CR have already partially but also blatantly stolen (joking) 3 of the initial 10, I thought we might as well throw out 10 more and see if they come to fruition.
Vox Machina in: Dagger, Dagger, Dagger Heart
Premise: After over a year of Daggerheart, Vox Machina become the latest campaign group to be ported onto the system. In the absence of the gods, Vax catches wind of a death cult seeking to claim dominion over the Matron's former domain, and calls upon Vox Machina to aid him in eliminating it. Potential cameos for Lieve'tel, Morrighan Ferus, and Cerkonos if Robbie wants to be involved.
The Road Less Travelled: An Artagan Adventure
Premise: Set after the events of the Artagan novel, the fey has found himself mortal and depowered - and does not like it one bit. The sudden depowering is also a problem for his followers, who too become significantly depowered. As a result; Artagan, Jester, Braius and some additional followers of the Traveler band together to find a means of restoring Artagan - and thus their own - powers. Potential for Keyleth and Vax cameos in reference to the book, maybe Fjord because of Jester.
Bell's Hells in: The Curse of Hishari
Premise: Having put it off long enough, Ashton Greymoore opts to fully understand their origins and travel to the cursed remains of Hishari. Supported by their found family, Bell's Hells navigate what remains of the cult's former home base and the blight that remains in the wake of their failed ritual involving a young Ashton and the Spark of Ka'Mort. The land is broken and, as with many places Bell's Hells have come across, the souls cannot move on. It's up to them to cleanse the village and get the answers they're after in the process. Potential cameo for Abbadina or Hevestro to guide to the place if needs be.
Three Team Trilogy: The Beasts of Burdens
Premise: The Apogee Solstice may not have unsealed Uk'otoa, but the Leviathan has friends of their own. News that The Twilight Phoenix, Desirat, has successfully freed The Undermaw, Quajath, leads the Mighty Nein to believe that Uk'otoa may be next to run amok around Exandria. As a result, they recruit Vox Machina and Bell's Hells to help them intercept the two beasts while also guarding Uk'otoa's seal - and potentially resealing them if unleashed again.
Bell's Hells in: Aeor Be Questions?
Premise: The clone of Ludinus Da'leth has made another move in releasing the footage of the Gods' mission to bring about Aeor's Downfall. As a result, pressure falls on the Exandrian Accord to address the people of Aeor still trapped in stasis and they send their favourite suicide squad to enter the wild and horrific depths of Aeor once more to investigate it. Potential cameos for Essek, FRIDA and Devaxian given their connections.
Vox Machina in: Tinker, Tamer, Solder, Spike
Premise: You can't keep a good inventor down, or from going too far from time to time. Shenanigans unfold that turn many of Percy's toy shop of deadly inventions against Castle Whitestone, and it's up to Vox Machina to handle it before it spreads to the city and beyond. Potential for Taliesin to DM if he wants Percy to be incapacitated for it.
Wildemount Wildlings Return in: ExtraVethganza!
Premise: What's more stressful than running a camp? Running a camp social event! The Brenattos have a new batch of wildlings - though some former campmates may've joined the staff since - to cause chaos but this time they are also joined by children from other camps. Veth calls upon 'responsible' allies to try and keep the camp afloat, keep the children entertained but safe, and most of all, leave all other camps in the dust.
Bell's Hells in: Candlevania
Premise: Since they were unable to end Ludinus Da'leth's crusty deteriorating clone-elf ass at the Shattered Teeth, Bell's Hells collect a series of leads that culminate in his actual location for a final showdown. But Ludinus has been preparing for this clash too, and entraps the group in his new, modified Wizard Tower - now the size of a castle - filled with several Dunamancy weapons, traps, clones and simulacra to try and kill them before he can find a solution to his deterioration and kill him.
EXU: Schism
Premise: Set in the early ages of mortals, the true history of the Schism is told as events unfold that lead the Primordial 'titans' and Tengar 'gods' to a brutal impasse over the latter's 'children', as well as the fracture of the Tengar family into Prime and Betrayer deities. Players could play as God, Mortal or Primordial to their preference, could be a trilogy like the 'Calamity Trilogy' if there's mileage in it.
Bell's Hells presents: The Funeral of Chetney Pock O'Pea
Premise: Despite cheating death for so many years, Chetney can feel his time is coming, and wants to resolve some personal loose ends. As a result, Bell's Hells arrange a Living Funeral for Chetney to celebrate his long (and some of the Hell's would stress long) life. Not everything in Chetney's past is welcoming to him, however, and some skeletons may want to make sure Chetney doesn't live past the funeral.
The Hishari did succeed with their ritual, in a way...
Ashton has TITAN blood!!!!! Confirmed!!!
So whatever the Hishari had been trying to do, summon some elemental power, they succeeded and Ashton absorbed it? or maybe they were trying to give them that power from the start?
idk but either way, TITAN BLOOD ASHTON HOLY FUCK!!!!!
Shit it just hit me that because of the timeline, Keyleth was Voice of the Temple when the Hishari village was destroyed. That explains so much as to why she knows about it. Why hadn’t I realized that before??
Twenty years ago was literally like eight years after the end of campaign one
