You see his face. It gives me all kinds of concern when he’s not in my presence. Oh and I know..my eye was acting up on that day. It does that sometimes after the strokes I’ve had. It was giving me problems but I’m getting older and I’m grateful for it. Having 3 strokes makes very clear that time is fleeting. My point is this... I don’t care about the eye as much as I do spending time with him. Knowing he’s safe, watching him grow into a man, getting married and having children. With the weight of the world and what’s happening. I don’t take any day for granted. Every day is a gift. A true gift from God for me anyway! I could’ve been dead and gone. But ohh the grace and mercy of God has kept me.!He has kept him. He gave me Nijel when he was my earnest desire. ♥️He’s my why? Why I keep fighting daily when I want to give up! ♥️He’s my Why! Why I work so hard and will do what I need to so he can have his need met. ♥️He is my Why! Why I’m voting because I want a better future for him and his family. ♥️We cry together we laugh and have Shenanigans alllll day long.😂 The days we have left on this earth will be what we make it! I can’t help but praise God 🙌🏽 I’m just #grateful It saddens me what we as black people have to endure so much.... my black son isn’t looked as a human to some. But a danger. Without even opening up his mouth. Without doing anything but existing. That’s sounds crazy to say, right?So I pray without ceasing!! And hope you do as well.
