It’s been a long long time

It’s been way too long. Well, only few years, but it feels like forever. The whole world has changed. And it feels like nothing's like it was and he’s just slightly afraid that she has changed with it and he’s the only one who’s still stuck somewhere in the past.
He steps off of his motor bike and takes off the helmet, looking at the little bookshop that looks like just the way it was few years ago. At least that hasn’t changed. He had heard a rumor from his contacts that she was back in town, even though he hadn’t really paid any attention to anyone from his past for ages. But now he was ready to see her. He needed to see her.
The little bell by the door chimes when he steps into the bookstore that looks dusty and a little messy. But then again, dust and the scent of old books go together so it doesn’t bother him too much. He knows the store has been empty, because he waited for her to come back when she left. Left with nothing but a note saying she’d be back.
He rings up the little bell by the counter that’s meant for customers to call for the cashier.
“I thought you said a little while. Or your russian is very very bad.”
