Chie just casually texting on her phone doesn't realize Yosuke had slid next to her. Once she put her phone down it was then she realized.

Yosuke suggesting to stay at home and skip school? (Not really a surprise there) Not to mention it was snowing outside— Meaning it was too cold to walk to their destination in the first place. Still why did Yosuke show up to Chie’s house in the first place to say 'Lets stay home'. This was her house in the first place.
"Sure why not," she finally agreed with a shrug to follow suit. "But don’t try any funny business; Video games and that’s it," A finger was pointed at Yosuke only to lower a second later.
"I get player one and you get player two," Chie chuckled grabbing the controllers.
"Here you go," She spoke handing him the player 2 and not to mention the half broken controller. Not like she was going to tell him anyways, it still worked so why not use it.
