@hisperseverance
* relax, glasses; it’s just grillby’s, not some dark and seedy hole-in-the-wall.
* You remember it. You remember seeing @hisperseverance die.
There’s a stone in their throat when they try to swallow at the memory. Sure, it wasn’t only Atlas that fell then; no, it had been their entire team. Every other child they had grown to be friends with had their souls stolen right at the barrier.
Frisk’s heart twists at the memory and they slouch, spirits low and tears pricking at the corners of their eyes.
They can’t take this silence anymore.
Gripping onto Atlas’ sleeve ( they feel awful for feeling like you didn’t befriend him enough before everything happened ), they gently tug on it to grab his attention.
“ A - Atlas...? Can we talk--? ”
Childhood
100 days of headcanons
before his mother became ill, emilio was a relatively happy child. he didn’t fit in at school very much, nor did he get along with most other kids, mainly due to the fact that he was several grades smarter than them ;; even at such a young age, emilio loved tinkering with things and playing with old toys, so he didn’t much care that he had no friends at school, because he was perfectly happy with the mechanical companions at home.
however, when emilio’s mother’s condition worsened and she died just before his eighth birthday, something changed inside of him. he drew into himself, became terribly reserved and stubborn, and his father wasn’t exactly any help. to emilio, his mother had been the closest person to him, his bestest friend, the only person he could avidly go to and show off his inventions. she was very, very important to him. but without her in his life suddenly, he didn’t know what to do with himself. his father thought nothing of it, and instead spent his grieving at work, instead of with his son.
emilio found himself having bitter, reserved feelings for his father over time. the man left the raising of emilio to the maids or paid nannies, and emilio never opened up to any of them ;; there were often times where he got into verbal arguments with them over the silliest of things, especially when he did bad things just to make them mad, as his childish way of getting back at not only them but also his father.
