Today is 1st December, the birthday of Jeremy Northam. I hope he has a great day with joy, family and friends. And for once I ask a present from him. A new project would be wonderful.

I chose to make a Thomas More montage as this role in The Tudors had and still has the biggest effect on my life, and this was the role which made me a fan.

It has been a long time since I posted because I’ve been writing away.

Just now I was thinking, what inspires me to write these fics? Well I just found my answer as I sat down to watch an episode of a series I recently found: “Isabel”: it tells the tale of the queen of Castile and how she and her husband, Fernando, joined their kingdoms into what is today known as Spain. It’s set a little before “A Tale of Angloa” and “Secrets of the Court”. But it gets me in the mood for writing, researching - everything! It makes me more keen on learning new aspects of history. Another series that manages to do the same thing is “The Tudors” with the same premise- it tells the life of Henry Tudor. I also find the war of the roses to inspire me, the playa by Shakespeare dramatized by BBC have been done so well that I was eager to reread the plays. “Isabel” is my favorite series and I warmly recommend it. I believe you can find it subtitled in English on Netflix (the series is Spanish, of course).
