So, what actually inspires me to write, what actually starts the process is always--always music. Music and maybe some scenery. But mainly music! And even before writing the Secrets trilogy, I have listened to some of the songs on the following playlists.
I have just compiled 3 playlists on my (new) YT channel that I will link below. Each list is adapted to each fic. I will include the description it here as well as on ff.net.
For you who have read my fanfic: Secrets of the Court. This is (not complete since I can't remember exactly ALL the songs I listened to) a playlist featuring the music I listened to while writing the first book. They are in no particular order really. And while some are for mere ambiance, others did indeed inspire some scenes/chapters. And some I'd even consider themes for certain characters, as I will list below (by playlist number):

Playlist to the third fic: The Weight of a Crown. Again, in no general order. The longer songs (like nr 1) have just a few songs on their particular album that I listened to, unfortunately, some I could only find the entire album on YT.

28. The army cries Audeamus for William Fell as they face Victoria's forces.
32. A longer track I couldn't find divided so I took the entire album. Some tracks on here that have inspired me: The Blue Whale (Athar speaks to William of Edward Cullen's legacy in the painting's gallery).
