   he’s quiet -- he’s been quiet for hours now, consumed by his    thoughts. mistake after mistake, revelation after damning    revelation -- they all eat at him, slowly but surely gnawing at    his PSYCHE. carrying on, pretending he’s alright -- it’s getting    harder and harder with each passing day, and yet he can’t quite    bring himself to talk to his brother about it.                                                                            -- it always had to be YOU.    the words that haunt him, keep him up at night and plague his    dreams, the constant ring in his ears, neverending. how do you    live with something like that, with the thought of your destiny    being intertwined with the DEVIL ?? the idea that it was always    going to be YOU.                                   “ we can’t hide forever, y’know. “    sooner or later, sam would have to face what he’d done, and    they would BOTH have to face whatever was in store for them.

Thumb is tucked                  between shoulder and bag strap,    remaining four fingers                  spread out loosely.    Vacant hand reaches up to remove                  chocolate  waves  away  from  dark  eyes.   Slender digits                  comb effortlessly through the SILK strands,   forcing them                  back behind left shoulder.  Pristine teeth clench anxiously                  atop subtly  chapped lips as legs TIREDLY  carry slender                  frame  to  the  next  three   doors   d o w n  at  the  motel.

                       Far too long  (seven months, to be exact)  the woman had                        vanished without so much as  a  word to those she called                        FAMILY.   But time  had been  needed and  escaping was                        all she could do to  a c h i e v e  that need. Seven months                        hadn't  been  the  original  plan. Two months   would have                        been too long.  Yet things have proven to happen without                        expectations.  F A T E  most  would  call  it.  Set on a pre-                        determined path that you always end up taking regardless                        of  any  alternative  routes.       Such a time CONSUMING                        journey undoubtedly changes people.    It was frightening.

                 Upon approaching the door, body goes rigid.  Ever since                  the decision to return, Baby had once again been on the                  search for HER boys.  Whether they be together or once                  again separated  hadn't  truly mattered,  as long  as she                  found them.    All clues  had led to  this motel, and if the                  man at the front desk  KNEW who it was she mentioned,                  then all  resources along the way had been  correct and                  the  s e a r c h  would end.    Lithe fingers curl into a fist,                  timidly raising her hand    to   contact knuckles with door.
