Is it worse to hear your mean words up so loud or to
Know they're coming from inside? (YOU’RE OUT)
A call emanating from a payphone hidden somewhere in my own mind (YOU'RE OUT)
You may have hurt me before but it's me that lets it linger on (YOU'RE OUT)
I don't need to carry your burdens so it's time to move along (YOU'RE OUT)
How am I gonna be an optimist about this?
Have I ever mentioned how much I hate writing two characters with the same pronouns? I feel like I’m typing a name for clarification every three words.
"How could Cabeswater ever think that it was best to take these two boys who had already lost so much away from each other, too?" - Hit Reset, by e_cat
Happy birthday to my wonderful friend @dysfunctional-college-roommates, the author of the amazing Pynch fic “Hit Reset”! There’s nothing I could say to accurately express how much I adore this fic, so please go check it out if you like the sound of magic, curses, witty lines, boys who are not good with feelings, falling in love (again), glitter wands and scheming friends.
You may be a thorn I witnessed A pain I need to co-exist with But I--- I'll decide
Did not realize that I had basically half my chapter written, usual-word-count-wise. Wow. I know that the fact that it took me months to get here makes it illogical, but this is totally invigorating me to write more.
So, there was a gap of a week or two in the middle of it, but I just finished my first read-through of my next chapter, and I think it’s pretty good and close to what I want. So, yay! I have a qualifying exam next Friday, but I’d say within a week of that, I should have the chapter posted! (Or sooner, if I'm being a very terrible student.)
