Have I ever mentioned how much I hate writing two characters with the same pronouns? I feel like I’m typing a name for clarification every three words.

Happy birthday to my wonderful friend @dysfunctional-college-roommates, the author of the amazing Pynch fic “Hit Reset”! There’s nothing I could say to accurately express how much I adore this fic, so please go check it out if you like the sound of magic, curses, witty lines, boys who are not good with feelings, falling in love (again), glitter wands and scheming friends.

Did not realize that I had basically half my chapter written, usual-word-count-wise. Wow. I know that the fact that it took me months to get here makes it illogical, but this is totally invigorating me to write more.

So, there was a gap of a week or two in the middle of it, but I just finished my first read-through of my next chapter, and I think it’s pretty good and close to what I want. So, yay! I have a qualifying exam next Friday, but I’d say within a week of that, I should have the chapter posted! (Or sooner, if I'm being a very terrible student.)
