I've often thought of categorizing my movie list by:

- good movie, hated it

- bad movie, loved it

- good movie, loved it

- bad movie, bury it deep

- utterly forgettable movie (don't watch it again to try and recall) (it won't work) (trust me)

Also sub categories:

- everyone should see this at least once in life

- watching it daily (new comfort show)

- annual re-watch!

- never recommend this to anyone you wanna be friends with

I feel like it would be more effective than the 5 or 10 star rating system, which is ambiguous at best.
