Dal Shabet - Hit U

[S] Back in High school Dal Shabet was a girl group that I was really into I don’t know what happened over the years but they just got lost in the shuffle of girl groups that were all over the kpop world and I just ended up forgetting about them after a few years. I still know most of their title tracks but I honestly had to go do some research about the group to see if they were even still together and releasing music when I picked this song. It turns out they are currently listed as inactive and have lost and replaced a few members so that kind of upsets me a bit since I loved the original lineup of this group.

I came across this album again when M, C and myself were driving to Taco bell during a good old Canadian snow storm ( sometimes we really fit Canadian Stereotypes XD a blizzard really doesn’t stop us from doing much lol!) I was ridiculously excited when this some came on because of all the memories it brings up and to this day this song is still one of the best! I will probably have this song on repeat most of the day now and I regret nothing. XD

[C] Ah, I miss these girls so much. Hit U has got to be one of my favourite tracks from them. Back in the day Dal Shabet was one of the few girl groups I listened to and probably what made me start listening to girl groups because teenage C didn’t give two craps about girl groups. All these years later this song is still my jam it’s one that will never get old, every time it comes on it brings back so many old memories. Omg S! We would have fit the stereotype even more if we went to Tim Hortons! xD

[M] I think in all the time I’ve listened to Kpop, I have only ever listened to one other Dal Shabet track aside from this one. S got really excited when this track came on in C’s car the other day when we were all driving somewhere. (I am pretty sure it was to get tacos in a blizzard but you know.) This song is super upbeat and catchy and was ridiculously fun to crank up and drift around in the snow too (because you can’t not drift when there is that much snow on the roads). The song is definitely an upbeat, feel good, party track that will be stuck in your head for hours!
