OC-tober 2018 | Inktober 2018 Day 2: Couple
I really only have one IC couple, but they are pretty disgusting. Inspired by a screenshot series @locke-rinannis and I did but never posted.
OC-tober 2018 | Inktober 2018 Day 07: Luck
I tried to keep this one more loose, so that things go faster ree. Plus it felt more moody.
Arshtat often feels far too lucky to have someone like Madoc, or the life she found in Eorzea away from her tribe. She has a lot a feels.
OC-tober 2018 | Inktober 2018 Day 6: Orange
The good striped, orange son. These were all going to be black and white but how do I convey orange without orange.
OC-tover 2018 | Inktober 2018 Day 5: Handy
I-I am gunna try and catch up today.
Josie has always liked to tinker. Besides music, mechanics have been an interest and talent from a young age. She got into trouble in the orphanage taking apart things like chronometers to see how they worked. (Especially before she could put them back together.) It’s one of the few things she finds joy in these days.
Rather than a lotto or first come, first serve, I've seen a lot of artists leave themselves open for a certain timeframe (considering how fast you fill, up, a day is probably good!) and actively choose the concepts/drawings that they prefer to work with. That way you have full control of what (and who) you're working with.
This is something I have considered, and while I think it might be a good thing on the artist’s end, I might worry what the commissioner feels if they keep entering and never get chosen (because yes, even if artists say they don’t have bias on what they draw, they do have personal preferences).
I’m not sure. I’ve been on the other end of not getting ‘chosen’ as a commissioner and I know I felt disappointed. I think there’s pros and cons to every method, though.
OC-tober 2018 | Inktober 2018 Day 4: Drive
Drive is also another hard thing to draw. Especially because... none of my characters drive anything really. Most don’t even have a chocobo. So here’s Ihzu’to driving a sword through a voidsent ok.
OC-tober 2018 | Inktober 2018 Day 3: Nature
It’s probably bad to admit I had trouble when it’s only day three. Nature is so vague, ree. Have my stupid cat.
