hello fello artist here i was wondering how do you make your drawings into gifs? o: i have photoshop btw~

ah thanks for the ask but i might not explain it so well heh

first of all i draw out my frames and layers in sai just becuase im more comfortable over there heh but if you draw in photoshop then you can totally skip this

then i just hit save as like usual and use the dropdown to save as a psd file

then in photoshop open the file and click window and animation

for my molang gif i had 4 dif layers, two for the animation of molang and another two for the fighting! bubble

uhm then you set up the frames as what you would like and in which order frame by frame

when theres more frames i like to make folders before hand and name them and everything so its easier and less crowded and messy heh

and uh ya

the 0.2 sec at the bottom is how long each frame will play and if you click that you can set it longer or shorter

and the forever at the bottom is how long the gif will play in general so if you want it to only go one time or to loop continuously

once your done and eveything looks good then you just go to file and save for web and devices

a popup will appear so you can edit your gif and like change the size or how many colors it has ect ect

and once your done there then just hit save and your done~

if the gif wont upload on tumblr than i edit it in that last popup box and make it a smaller size or reduce the colors so that its a smaller file size and can work on tumblr

ah but if this didnt explain it so well theres many other tutorials for animating in photoshop so go cheak them out too~ im still pretty basic with photoshop so yea
