Work drama escalates, last night the manager declared us totally shut down for the week as we don’t have enough vaccinated staff to run the clinic. I have to admit I’m confused by the requirements but apparently because of the exposure, unvaccinated staff must remain home for a week? And we must notify all clients of the exposure that occurred so they can decide wether they even want to come in? So it’s been declared a wash and we’re just all going to stay home. Sorta? As I’m quasi on-call still? It’s frustrating not knowing what I’ll actually be doing this week and can’t make plans either way. Also will we be paid?! Who fugging even knows. I highly doubt it. Good news is I’m feeling lots better today which gives me some relief at least that I don’t have Covid. Also, have to admit, an exposure and shut down at work was bound to happen, almost every clinic in the area had at least one episode, last year pre-vaccination, vet clinics would have to close for two weeks. For my birthday my husband (@fullyfunctionalminiaturebeehive) got me Hiusdoll's absolutely gorgeous harpy. He did the faceup/blushing for me and it's just gorgeous and full of metallics over her soft gray base. I did the costuming and jewelry for her - working at so small a scale is definitely interesting - but I'm quite happy with her headdress and choker.
I'm calling her Agofonika or Nika for short.
