This feels Great!! I've never been bizarre since Grump Ocean! - Berecca

Here's Berecca Rampantnugget in @kaytjohanna's Hivesnax AU, which she is a Snaxacura. She's a Dorito Taco Cheeto Burrito Cinnamon Roll Gummy Grump Chocolate Spotted Hydra Centaur that is described as a strange form-shifting abomination to intruders. She can make gummy grumpus hand puppets from her back like how a hydra grows back it's head, and she can see well in the dark thanks to the spots on her cinnamon icing parts!

You do not wanna get her on her bad side, unless you wanna see something scary that is oozing with melted chocolate and cinnamon icing and armed with the arms of Gummy Grumpuses from her mouth to her beef parts.

As a quick reminder, sashes have the base colour of the USHGE (Check the sheets if you're not sure), then have a trim/pattern of the colour which matches the jobs/roles your Unionyte or Grumpsnak would have! You could even have more than one and not belonging to the same USHGE, but maybe make sure to have the colours of the USHGEs they're involved with.

Hivesnax Lore: Grumpsnax

Finally putting some lore up here for safe-keeping; this is for my Bugsnax AU on Ao3, called the Hivesnax (formerly Queen Buddy) AU, and I'm putting some lore up here for the time being, and I'll be adding in something extra when the time is right. Feel free to leave some questions if you'd like to learn more, or 'Send Me A Letter'!

Snaxacura

Snaxacura are known for their connection to the Hivesnax and it’s Hivemind, and their forms are more like Mythical Creatures, rather than strictly any one form, being half Grumpus, half Bugsnax.

Scoopy Banoopys become Centaurs (Banoopytaurs), Cheepoofs become Fae, Weenieworms to half serpent grumps, etc, but there’s no strict form for any of them: Depending on the grumpus, their forms are moldable and change with each different personality.

Mentality over Strength.

Snaxuture

Snaxutures are far more on the physical side of the Hivesnax: raw, unbridled power, and are far more animalistic than Snaxacura are.

Bungers become bulls, Incherritos to meerkats, Strabbies and Razzbies to mice and rats, etc, but, very much like Snaxacura, there’s no exact set form, changing to the times, but are far stronger and more resilient than the animals already existing in nature.

However, their forms can change more depending on their roles, be that travelling long distances, or carrying heavy loads.

Host

Hosts… are neither Snaxacura, or Snaxuture, having balanced connections with the Hivesnax and far greater strength than their grumpus selves. Helping keep the evergrowing swarm in check, requiring a strong mentality, as well as a good amount of strength.

They appear more like Grumpuses who have been overly Snakified into great hulking beasts, with their fur and faces only partially exposed to those around them, but also more like mythical creatures.

Like Snaxutures, their forms can change very easily, depending on their roles, and can grow additional limbs.

Contessal Host

There are Hosts, and then there are Contessal Hosts who are in a complete league of their own.

Grumps who willingly join the Hivesnax, all in the aid of the Queen and to assist in managing the very Hivemind itself, Contessal Hosts are, by far, the most regal and powerful of Gurmpsnax, save for the Queen themselves, and are 2-6 times as big as their former forms, depending on how tall their forms were before (eg bigger forms grow in smaller amounts 10ft = 20ft in CH form, 4ft = 24ft). The more Contessal Hosts there are, the more powerful the Hivesnax.

Contessal Hosts, at the end of their lives, become new plants or even forms of new nature, helping to start bringing in seeds, plants, roots and more. When the First and Second Queens fell, as their empires collapsed hundreds of years ago, the Contessal Hosts became the Bossnax you see today, collapsing and falling to the temptation of the Bugsnax they unified with: Mama Mewon, Chedda Rex, M. Supreme, Megamaki and D. Cakelegs, all were once Contessal Hosts to their Queens.

Like them, the new Contessal Hosts of the current Queen Budleguard Kibblequill, should they fall, would become part of the Bugsnax, and their forms would become new Bossnax. However, that won’t be happening any time soon, as the Bugsnax have sworn loyalty to the Queen, as they are determined to fulfil the promise of Mother Naturae and save the grumps who were consumed all those years ago.

The Contessal Hosts, Part 2

(As a heads up, blurbs in the images are outdated, but I hope you all enjoy!)

The Cultivator

In close following, the Third Contessal Host is Wambus Troubleham.

He joined when he discovered hidden history in his family, and meeting with the grump who raised him, eventually discovering he was caught by [], but escaped with the help of [].

His siblings remained indicted into [], as well as one of his friends, [], before reuniting over forty years later with the help of the Queen. Wambus decided to join the Hivesnax not long after, as he knew he had skills they could use and utilise to its full potential, as well as to sustain the Hivesnax and manage the Ougular more efficiently, leading to the creation of Saucepults.

He’s the Contessal Host of Provisions and Munitions (Forager and Harvester), taking on extra work as a Warrior.

The Alchemist

Fourth to unite with the Queen’s ranks is none other than Flooftingstein ‘Floofty’ Fizzlebean. (also my favourite design out of all of them tbh--)

Estranged from their family and rejected multiple times by their brother in their attempts to repair their bond, they join the Hivesnax due to their undying curiosity, and their longing for knowledge.

They watch the tapes left by Buddy and Gramble, and read the files, learning more about how Grumpsnax are made, and they and their brother join the Hivesnax long before they become Contessal Hosts, to assist in getting an official organisation process in place, to ensure the Hivesnax runs smoothly.

The Contessal Host of the Biochemicals USHGE, they work primarily as an Artificer, but takes on secondary work as a member of Communications.
