What do Hivestorm, Aegis and Gaius think of other species in the galaxy?

Hivestorm is pretty ambivalent to other species, he could take them or leave them.  He prefers the company of other Cybertronians with a leaning towards Insecticons and beastformers.  There are exceptions though and he loves those bots to bits.

Aegis finds them fascinating and takes any opportunity he has to study them and learn about their cultures.  If he hadn’t gone into medical sciences then he likely would have taken a field in xenobiology and sociology.

Gaius... he’s a city former, and keep in mind, he used to be a city made specifically to keep sparklings in.  He sees small species (or even big ones) and all he can think is “Look, something for me to take care of.”  He’s a big mama hen.

Hivestorm! For 24, 27, and 15!

24. This is a bit of an odd question. Hive actually loves organic life forms, he finds them fascinating but fragile. He knows that there are dozens of planets with organic life that has extensive intelligence so he doesn't think they're inferior. They might be considered superior because they haven't broken their world almost right in half, unlike Cybertronians.

27. He drinks socially but does his best not to get drunk. Luckily his metabolism means he goes through it relatively quickly.

15. Although he's happy with the job he has, he's never been too happy with his alt mode, it feels too vulnerable to him. Now that he has children, however, he won't voice any of that, and he won't change even if given the chance.

Assist: [Massive Insecticon screech as he flies across the screen and rips an opponent’s throat out]

Taunt: “Aw... you’re so cute when you’re mad.”

Reacting to Taunt: “My swords are not compensating and you -know- it my love.”

Flee: “I think the children are calling.”

Reacting to Flee: “Wait!  You were doing so well!”

Tie: “No, I -wasn’t- holding back.  I’m proud of you.”

Perfect Victory: “I’m sorry, I thought you could handle it.”

Finishing Move: “If you submit politely, we can finish this in a more interesting way...”

what are some of Hivestorm's threat displays

Hivestorm’s threat displays tend to lean towards the audible rather than physical.  He’ll make the shrieking sound that is typical of Insecticons when he wants someone to back down.  Also, his secondary set of arms are normally kept folded up against his chassis and he’ll unfold them to be closer to his weapons.  Depending on how mad he gets, his optics shift color from gold to white.

10. Love at first sight.

Jaxx considered this and crossed his legs to get comfortable.  “I believe in lust at first sight.  I believe in infatuation as well.  But love comes with trust and time, so no I do not believe in it.”

Hivestorm rubbed the back of his helm with an embarrassed cough. “I do believe in it.  I’ve experienced it, looking across a ring and seeing someone brave and foolish and optimistic.  It made me believe in hope for the first time in a long time and I fell for her very quickly.”

29. Cheating.

Jaxx shook his head quickly. “I’ve never been in a relationship before.”

Looking uncomfortable, Hivestorm shook his head as well. “I have not cheated on anyone, but... I have been cheated on.”

71. Turn offs.

Jaxx doesn’t miss a beat with this question. “Immaturity.  Arrogance.  General unsanitary habits.”

The former gladiator considers this.  He hadn’t had a lot of opportunity to explore what he did and didn’t like. “Bots who like pain, I think.  Giving or receiving.  It makes me uncomfortable to hurt someone I care for, even in a controlled situation.  And... I can’t put myself in a place where I would be hurt by my partner.  I couldn’t trust myself not to... forget where I am.”

12. What was your last dream about?

Hivestorm tensed a bit at the question being directed at him, his mandibles clenching tightly together as he let out a slow vent.  

Slick cables being held in his grip, digits clawing at his wrist as he held the competitor up by their vocal cords that were slowly being stretched to the point that they were snapping so the sounds of their screams were being cut off.  Optics still staring at him in horror as the vibra knife comes in closer, cutting one small portion of the armor to expose tender portions beneath it.  Carefully choosing which ones to pluck out, just enough to send oil spilling across the chassis and spurting onto him.  Nothing too dire, the mech will still live, at least until the next time the stupid one decides to attach him after the fights have been called to an end.

“I don’t dream.” He muttered hoarsely.

31. What position do you usually recharge in?

“Whatever position I end up falling into recharge in.  I have a bad habit of staying up quite a lot, studying books and quite a few times I’ve recharged sitting straight up.” Jaxx laughed softly.

51. Are you scared of spiderbots?

Jaxx lifted an eyebrow.  Those were just like regular arachnids weren’t they?  Normally if you left them alone, they would ignore you wouldn’t they?  “Umm... no?”

62. Are you a good singer?

“There is not enough high grade in the world for us to find out the answer to that question.” Hivestorm snorted, turning his face away.
