[S] Enter: The Medium ; A Discord Server!

Hello there, everybody! I have just recently made a Discord server based around Homestuck and Hiveswap. This server has been created to be a safe place for HS fans to discuss everything related to the franchise, as well as simply enjoy themselves!

If you are interested in joining the server, please review all of the information under the cut. I kindly ask you not to request an invite if you fall into any of the categories listed in the “Don’t Join If” section. If you don’t, please send this blog (@seer-of-lxght) an off anon ask or a DM requesting the invite.

Please note that this server is kin friendly and is ALSO friendly towards those who choose to type in their kins’ typing quirk(s).

DO NOT ASK TO JOIN THE SERVER IF:

You are over 25.

You are homo/bi/pan/trans/enby/etc.phobic.

You make fun of MOGAI identities/disagree with MOGAI.

You are an ace exclusionist or aphobe, or if you claim “aphobia isn’t real.”

You make fun of QPRs or any other terms coined by the a/aro-spec community.

You are a TERF/SWERF/truscum/pedophile or NSFW/kink/ddlg/clg/etc blog.

You ship real people, write fanfiction of real people, draw porn of real people, etc.

Think kids, whether in real life or fiction, who have bad behaviours/have done bad things are irredeemable and/or cannot be helped.

You are anitkin or factkin.

Think a person’s kins reflect their own actions as a person or that they automatically condone/support the actions of their kin.

SERVER RULES:

1.) A/homo/bi/pan/ply/trans/NB/etc.phobic behavior is strictly prohibited. Exclusionistic behavior is as well.

2.) Do not be an asshole or purposely harm/trigger others. If someone is trying to stir up drama, notify one of the mods immediately.

3.) If you have hurt or made someone uncomfortable, immediately stop what you are doing and apologize.

4.) Do not bring up any overly negative subjects such as self-harm, abuse, IRL death, etc. If you must, only discuss these subjects in the vent channel with appropriately marked trigger warnings.

5.) Refrain from making offensive jokes. If you make one and someone tells you that it is bad, do not make it again.

6.) Do not act hatefully towards any group or person in the server.

7.) Racist, sexist, and ableist behavior is strictly prohibited.

8.) Do not push acting thirsty towards a character too far. Refrain from anything NSFW.

9.) Refrain from character hate.

10.) Do not act rudely towards those who are kin.

11.) No mentions or discussions of pedophilic or incestuous ships are allowed here at all. If you were unaware that the ship was either of the two, you will be given a strict warning. If you continue to ship the pairing afterwards or think that those kinds of ships are alright, you will be banned from the server.

12.) Do not pointlessly @ everyone.

13.) Keep everything in their designated channels. Do not spam chats with bot commands- there is a specific channel for that.

14.) When posting art, do not post a work directly after someone else has posted. Allow them to gain at least a few comments on their work before posting, and be sure to comment on it yourself.

This server is supposed to be an incredibly safe place for Homestuck kin where they can freely express themselves. Do not treat someone oddly or poorly because of who they are, even if their kin are arguably "bad" characters. Do not yell or treat someone strangely if they choose to type in their kin's quirk(s).
