Secret Santa assignments have been released!

Those participating should have gotten a message from me by now via the email address provided in the sign up form. If you haven’t received your assignment email please message us!

This will be a bit unlike conventional secret santas, where the person will see who is giving them their gift. We do this as a way of encouraging fellow fans to reach out and talk to each other. However, we’re also doing things differently than previous years, so please make sure to read this post in its entirety!

Some things to remember as you guys have fun and do your stuff:

Please make sure it’s a finished piece! Nothing is more disheartening to pour your heart and soul into the gift you’ve made, only to get a pencil-sketch done in two minutes. It wouldn’t be fair.

By January 5th we ask that you EMAIL YOUR PIECE as a response to the initial assignment email! This is a bit different than previous years, as a way of trying to make sure everyone gets a secret santa gift!  

You will receive a CONFIRMATION EMAIL by Jan 7. Once confirmed, please post your gift to your blog by JANUARY 8

Hey everyone! I realize this is somewhat short notice but how about another fandom-wide event? From March 25 through March 31, Clockwork fans are invited to create fanworks featuring various ships and characters!

What do you guys mean by genship?

These relationships can be platonic, romantic, anything you want them to be! It doesn’t necessarily have to be a romantic ship, hence genship -- as long as it has multiple characters interacting it’s good to go!

Do I have to follow the prompts?

Nope! They’re there for if you need ideas, but you can do whatever you want.

Question about the Secret Santa application: what does it mean when it’s asking for “prompts/optional details”?

It just means things you might be interested in seeing, or would hope to see! (Ex: Cog and Boris having a snowball fight, Gaz in a sexy santa outfit, etc) Sometimes people don’t have many ideas on what to do for their gift, so this section could be a source of inspiration if they need it.
