WE’RE KICKING OFF CHAPTER 4 WITH OUR ANNUAL CLOCKWORK SECRET SANTA EVENT!

For those unfamiliar with Secret Santas/giftswaps, we’re hosting a swap of art/fics/any form of fan-created material. People are assigned a person to make a gift for, and in turn they will also get a gift from people who are participating– it’s a great way to get to know your fellow clockworkers \o/

Signups will close in five days (December 14) and assignments should be out by December 16th. The deadline for gift giving will be January 15th–  something to look forward to even after New Year’s and the rest of the holidays are over.

Time to post this one! Man, I haven’t made a proper digital drawing in ages and struggled with all kinds of trouble along the way making this but it’s here! :D This is my clockwork secret santa gift for Grey @emeraldshine13 I really hope you like it and that you had lovely holidays! Hello Tumblr! It’s been a while since I posted a photo. 

So a while back I did a piece of fanart for the webcomic Clockwork (my favorite), by @chikuto. Naturally, I looked back at it and said “wow, I was really bad at art.” So I decided to do a new, better one! So here’s Cog Kleinschmidt, lovely salt child of Chikuto, in all his magical glory. I may be obsessing over this comic too much, but she deserves the love because it’s amazing and she’s amazing. She’s worked through harsh depression to give us her masterpiece, and I commend her for it because it’s inspiring me to get going on my own comic I’ve been neglecting. So thanks for inadvertently getting me back in gear, Chikuto dear~

On another note, his magic was so much fun to draw, it’s a style I never tried before! Might keep it in mind for my own magical universe!!

Ah, it seems as if that even on the Midwinter Festival, our beloved Alex can still find some way to make Cog’s life a misery. Keep trying, Cog! Just...watch out for the shattered baubles at your feet...

I’m sorry that this is a few hours late, but we have an extreme fire warning here in Australia; it’s 41 degrees Celsius, and so life’s a bit...hectic.
