GORILLA ANGREB - Aborted 2000 EP - Many years ago, I became obsessed with this band in the middle of a tour. A few days later, I stayed with a guy in Toronto (?) who had just toured with them in Europe. He had copies of all of their EP’s (original pressings) and sold all of them to me for $2 each. Bless that man. This one is when they were a rawer sounding, more rudimentary punk band. I rarely put this one on, but it’s really, really good.
GORILLA ANGREB - Astma - Such a drastic change between this record and the last one! One of my favorite records off all time. So good. It sets such a mood. I have no fucking clue what they’re singing about.
GORILLA ANGREB / LOKUM - This one has a real Texas Chainsaw Massacre theme for some reason. The GA side is really good...one of my other favorite records by them. The LOKUM side has grown on me over the years. Kinda rudimentary punk with some synth. Their LP has been sitting in the record store up the street for years. Maybe I’ll go get it today.
GORILLA ANGREB - Long Island - This one was almost universally panned for being bad. It’s definitely not as good as their other records, but not as bad as people made it out to be. It just doesn’t have the energy of their other records. At least they redeemed themselves with their 12″ the following year before breaking up.
I've been feeling this whole album super hard lately and the vocals on this song are really something to write home about.
Anonym blog oprettet i al desperation, for, at komme ud med al hjernespind og tankemylder, ligesom enhver anden dansk, anonym blogger. De ting man gerne vil ud med, men ikke vil kendes ved. For slet ikke at nævne, hvor vidt man stadigvæk gerne vil opnå at få sig et tons følgere, der er ved at sprænges af nysgerrighed over hvem man er, så man rigtigt kan sidde og gnide sig i hænderne over, at der i det mindste er nogle folk på internettet der er interesseret i, at vide det. Det bliver nok ikke meget anderledes, end alle de andre førnævnte blogs, der omhandler hvor vidt man drikker og horer for meget, og hvor meget man inderst inde hader sig selv og sit utilfredsstillende ordforråd man ihærdigt prøver at udvide. Nu mangler jeg bare følgere til, at læse mit nonsens. Jeg kan ikke selv følge folk med en sideblog, og hele anonymitetskonceptet ryger lidt, hvis jeg reklamerer med denne på min anden. Kører på tagsne.
