I write to you because Rita thanks to Rita in order for you to to make sure you were alright after everything that happened in the Potters' wedding party. I was there, and I'm sure you all went through a very rought time; please, would you tell me say accept my send them my concerns and, please, make sure they know everyone in the Prophet offices is very sorry about what happened to them.

Remus hadn't been expecting a letter that evening. Of the rare post that he received, the majority of his mail contained simple notes regarding Order meetings or short letters from his closest friends. Therefore, he was slightly hesitant in receiving the crisp, professional-looking note from the unfamiliar tawny owl that pecked at his window.

Opening up the envelope carefully, he read the foreign handwriting quickly. Hestia Jones? He had spoken with the girl before, and found her to be nothing but pleasant and simple, but was surprised that she had remembered to write him of all people. After the event that had taken place in the days before, everyone was scrambling to account for loved ones, shutting themselves in and keeping their noses down. It seemed odd that she had chosen to write to him specifically, though as a representative for the Prophet, he figured that such notes must be obligatory. Nonetheless, a response would be in order, to let the witch know that her thoughts were appreciated.

Dipping his quill in a small jar of ebody ink, Remus responded neatly on a fresh piece of parchment, his thin, slanted writing orderly and uniform.

Hestia Jones,

Good afternoon. I would like to begin by thanking you for the kind and unexpected gesture. I'm alright, though I can't say the same for everyone in attendance. That's very thoughtful of you; I'll pass along your message promptly. I'm pleased to hear that you made it out safely, and hope that you were unharmed as well. Do take care of yourself.
