“Oh! You caught up!” Admittedly, it’d been quite the chase; Even Robin was a bit out of breath, sitting on the criminal that they’d been running after for the last few blocks. But, hey, Lieutenant Law was here! Something that the rookie was genuinely happy for. It’d been hard enough handcuffing the guy, with all the fighting he was doing. “Is someone bringing a car around?”

It was pretty clear that Robin hadn’t noticed the other walking into the station’s break room; He was far too absorbed in his dancing, a wide grin on his face as he tried to imitate some street dancers that he’d seen on patrol. At least until he spun around, nearly toppling over when he saw the lieutenant‌.

“S-Sir…!” Talk about embarrassing… His face was almost as red as his hair, a hand rubbing the back of his neck. “Sorry, I was just… Uhm…” Nope, he had no good explanation for this.

A bright smile spreads on Mabel’s lips as she jumps up and down at the response. She can’t wait to make it! “In the kitchen! I found it in the kitchen!” Not exactly capable of waiting, she immediately runs back to that exact room. Time to go make that good pudding!!

Craning back to gaze up at the man, the swan blinked twice, long eyelashes fluttering, then, with a soft peeping sound, snaked out her neck, tugging gently but insistently at his trouser leg. 

Perhaps it was undignified of her, begging like this– as if she were a common animal!– but- well… She was hungry.. 

And if she had to eat one more bug or- or slimy, struggling little minnow she would SCREAM… At least, she would have, if she could still even scream properly. 

And she didn’t want the whole loaf, after all– just a piece would do, really…!
