Hello everyone! It's been a while since the last time we made a post of this kind. We're so happy about all the new members/characters and how constant our activity has been. That said, there are a few things we should like to broach very quickly. We're trying to keep a safe and fun environment for everyone in this RP and there are a few situations that have been brought to our attention. We ask you all to please read the following and keep an eye on it in the future.
Multiples identities. As many of you know, we've had a few situations wherein one player had used different aliases to skirt around our three character limit, applying for numerous characters under two or more names. While we're happy to see you're all very enthusiastic for this RP and its plots, we want to remind you that this is strictly prohibited, and members will be asked to step down from all of their roles and banned from the roleplay should they be caught doing it as it goes against our rules and is, in short, deceptive and untrustworthy. We allow a maximum of three characters, and though for now we intend to stand by that rule, we will make sure to alert members of any change going forth! We thank you all for respecting our rules and encourage you to contact us should you face issue with them, or find incidents of fellow members breaching them.
Cliques. We admins have done our best to always keep this RP an inclusive place where everyone has the chance to plot and write with everyone without any distinction. For this reason, we remind you that bubble roleplaying and only replying to ship-oriented threads while ignoring/dropping threads with other characters are highly frowned upon. Members should be willing to partake in a number of threads with multiple people, as this is not solely a 1x1 roleplay.
Interacting with characters that haven't been followed by the main. We want to remind you that while we admins always try to be on the main, we also have characters to maintain and personal/real life stuff to attend to and we cannot be on the main 24/7. That said, we would appreciate if members wait for us to post the official follow before interacting with new characters. This only to prevent any confusion.
Skirting activity. We remind you all that logging in to post only to avoid activity check/unfollow is not allowed. We hope to improve activity. It is unfair for those waiting for your replies and having to pick up old threads once a week. This way, we would like to announce that for now on, a character added to the activity check for three times in a row will be immediately unfollowed. If you are unable to fill the activity criteria, we invite you to message the main and discuss it with us. We always encourage our members to take hiatus should it be needed.
Hiatus. We understand that life is way more than roleplaying, however there had been cases where people take hiatus at least once every one or two months, not being active enough to keep up with the plot. Because of this, hiatuses will only be granted with two months of constant activity in between and they should not be longer than three weeks. Semi hiatus will only be granted if the player posts at least three times (on each character) every week of hiatus. Going on semi-hiatus and only reply to the same character/thread will not be allowed. Emergencies will be an exception.
Messaging admins. We know that as players, we usually feel more comfortable talking to those we have interacted with the most. However, if you face an issue within the roleplay, we ask you to message the main and main only. Sending messages to the admins on their characters inbox and ims or Skype will be ignored from now on. We hope you all understand that we try to keep everything on the same place so we can discuss it and we don't miss anything.
