hey there!! dunno if this is a weird ask to send but i read the how to live here series yeaaaaars ago and i loved it so much it’s stuck in my head. to this day i consider it the best fic ive ever read (and the one that actually made me an amberpricefield shipper). the first time i read it i lost the name of the fic but i would always think of it to the point my close friends are aware of it. all of this is to say, the writing of it is probably the most beautiful and brilliant i read in a fic, and every once in a while i revisit it, both for the joy of it and as inspiration for the writing of my own! thank you so much for creating that incredible piece of literature i hold dear to my heart to this day :))

It's not weird at all! It's lovely and very wonderful to hear. That fic meant so much to myself and my co-writer @holdsteady. To this day, it's still one of my favorite things I've ever written and those characters are still some of the most special to me. I'm not sure we'll ever get back to that fic to give it the ending it deserves, but for whatever it's worth, last year I wrote a smutty one shot that I consider to be part of the HTLH universe (call it a future fic, if you like).
