defeated \ their voice fell flat ( their eyes had a distant look to them \ one that was no longer looking for what it is they once searched for in the past ). you had a garden \ perfect ( blossoming \ the birds all chirping \ the butterflies dance between the petals \ a heart like the golden sun \ beaming a gentle light to shine on your garden ). yet the other looked as if they lost a few flowers \ that their garden had all but wilted. you dare not utter a word in response to theirs \ you needed a moment to think ( to wonder \ ponder on these words \ so that when the time comes you can reply with the right words ). that perhaps \ you could share your garden ( pluck a few pretty flowers \ give life back to the other ).
your eyes \ a soft gaze ( they looked directly into the other’s eyes \ searching \ for something more than gloom ). yet you could not find what you were looking for \ you couldn’t see anything in their eyes at all. your voice was gentle \ quiet , for these words were for their ears only. ❝ you shouldn’t give up. i believe… that if you just tried really hard then… then maybe you could go back. ❞
