Going to Ask Misty

[Henry]

Henry had called Josh and told him that while Josh talked to his parents that Henry would go and talk to Misty. He walked his way to the castle to find her and asked the guards where she was. 

[Misty]

Misty stood in the hall as the staff told her what the upcoming events were. She hummed before seeing Henry coming up to her. “Oh hi Henry, what do you think, should we open up the ballroom for yet another ball or have the orphans come play in the garden for a day?”

[Henry]

“Ballroom for sure. I think that everyone would want to come around and have another dance since it has been a while since the last one.” He tells her. “Actually…I was wondering if I could talk to you about something?” 

[Misty]

“Hm well then we will have another ball and I will ask Nibs when…I mean I will ask the king when we can open up the garden okay?” She said before looking at the staff. “You are excused.” Misty smiled before looking at Henry once they left. “What did you want to talk about?”

[Henry]

“Can we go somewhere private to talk? I don’t want anyone else to really know what I have to tell you. It’s about Josh.” He says shyly as he made sure no one could hear him other than Misty. 

[Misty]

“Oh sure um…we can go to my office?” She suggested before leading Henry to her office. She told her assistant to hold any calls or meetings before heading inside and sitting down. “Okay, what did you want to talk about with Josh? Is something wrong?”

[Henry]

Henry followed Misty as they made their way to her office. “I um…yes and no. He has that split personality and I know that you know of someone who has that. Josh doesn’t really have his parents' support or really know how it works. I thought that maybe having him talk to someone who knows what it is like might help. Or maybe you could tell him about your experience with someone who has had it?” 

“His other personality was saying things to me when we were hanging out the other day and it worried me. I just want to make sure he has support and knows that he has someone who understands him other than me. Well I mean even I don’t know it fully but…um yeah. If you aren’t friends with them anymore that’s okay too I just thought I would ask.” 

[Misty]

Misty listened to Henry and was fine to help him, until he asked if she knew of someone personally that could help Josh. “Um…well…yes of course I will help. I have no problem helping either of you to support him through this.” She said before standing up. “I just…I don’t know if I would be the best help Henry. But I can ask my…friend and see if he would be happy to help?”

[Henry]

“So you do still talk to this other person? What are they like? Do they have a dark personality too? I am trying my best to support him through all this since his parents just ignore it…I wish they didn’t though. I heard there was some sort of cure for it or they had a way to repress it somehow? Is that true?”

[Misty]

She heard his questions and moved around her office to keep her hands busy as she locked the door. “I um…he’s nice. He’s really nice. He…he is a great friend. Um…yeah I don’t know, he’s just…I do talk to him…sometimes.” She said before trying to remember how she helped Dylan. “Well I…he will be better at talking about all this than I am.”

[Henry]

“Why so much hesitation? You don’t seem very convincing. This friend…who was he then?” He asks knowing that she rarely ever stumbled over her words when she was helping him with something. 

[Misty]

Misty moved to pick up the books off the desk before dropping them. “What? Uh no he’s fine. Not fine like…he’s a fine person. Anyway, what day did you want to do it?” She asked as she moved to pick up the books.

[Henry]

“I would have to ask Josh. He said he was going to talk to his parents about coming here. I guess they are huge fans of the crown. I told them that Papa would be there so they shouldn’t get too excited.” Henry jokes. “I would assume sometime this week so if you have to let them know or something you have time.” 

[Misty]

Misty remembered that she would have to talk to Nibs about asking Dylan for help and looked up, but moved too fast and hit her head on her desk. “Ow fuck.” She said softly before standing up. “I…I don’t mind if they come. They are more than welcome.”

[Henry]

”They would want to meet you but I think maybe they should not meet your friend. If they ignore Josh’s condition they would probably try to ignore your friends and I don’t know how severe theirs is…” He says before noticing her bumping her head. “Are you okay?” 

[Misty]

Her eyes widened, “No. I mean I’m fine, but no…no they won’t meet him. They can just meet me if they want. I don’t care. You should…you should let Josh know. Okay. It was really nice seeing you Henry.”

[Henry]

“Right okay I can go and let him know now then. Thanks for helping.” He tells her with a smile. “I can call you later to let you know after I talk to him.” 

[Misty]

“No problem.” She smiled. “Yes, that fine sweetie.” She nodded. “I’ll wait to hear from you.”
