I am utterly broken and humbled by this week. Such a roller coaster of events and emotions, but in the end, all I know is that there is power in the name of Christ and that I will never be higher in life than when I'm face flat on the ground before the Lord.

This post is really pretty much for myself to remember this week. My heart and mind has never processed, learned, and been refined so much in just a week.

If there's anything to leave readers with, it's Job's confession and repentance, after God just blasts Job with chapter after chapter of questioning, humbling, and rebuking Job.

Then Job answered the Lord and said: “I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted. ‘Who is this that hides counsel without knowledge?’ Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand, things too wonderful for me, which I did not know. ‘Hear, and I will speak; I will question you, and you make it known to me.’ I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees you; therefore I despise myself, and repent in dust and ashes.”
