honestly the absolute rich narrative potential of eddie being resurrected as vecna’s servant given how we know canonically he has tried his very best to not be an actual bad person like (we can assume) his dad. like it’d be the exact hell he’s been trying to escape, and ohhh my god itd make it even more satisfying when his bone-deep goodness shines through and makes him impossible to be controlled…. more than finding redemption in the towns eyes itd be redemption and affirmation for eddie to HIMSELF that he is good and strong and just as deserving of a healthful happy life like!!! hello duffer brothers are u hearing me *taps mic* HELLLOOOOOO IS THIS THING ON??
